Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- National certification in obstetrics
Role Overview
- Provides patient care using the nursing process
- Coordinates nursing care and collaborates with other healthcare professionals
- Cares for patients from birth to elderly
- May supervise unit secretaries and OB techs in collaboration with the charge nurse
