Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Oregon City, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Floating may be required based on unit needs
- Weekends are required every other or every third
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not required
- 48 hours are approved
- Non-billable orientation is 0 hours
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- First-time travelers are accepted
- NURSYS verification required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- EFM certification
- NIH Stroke certification
- IV certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI certification
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit
- Driver's License
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment
Clinical Expectations
- Expected ratios: 1:1 labor, 3:1 postpartum
Work Environment
- Short-term acute care facility
- 109 staffed beds
- Epic charting
Additional Notes
- Travelers may be asked to float to other units and facilities to meet staffing needs
- If floating consecutive shifts, hotel lodging may be offered at additional cost
- Scrubs: any color allowed; OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child scrubs are provided
- Parking is free

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
