Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Everett, Washington
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekends required
• Floating required to postpartum
• Call not required
• Locals not accepted
• RTO must be included at time of submittal
• Guaranteed hours: clinician may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Post Partum experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• EFM

Unit Details

• High-risk perinatal care
• Level III unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU bays, and 7 triage bays
• Staffing includes 1:1 labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2–3 in antepartum
• Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift
• 3–4 delivering providers and 2 CRNAs are on site 24/7
• Candidates should ideally have experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries; 100–200 deliveries may also be considered

• Charting system: EPIC
• Parking is facility paid
