NICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Odessa, Texas
- ASAP start
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
- 13-week contract listed; 8-week contract preferred
Unit / Patient Population
- High-risk Level III NICU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Requirements
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing
- Background check
- 7-year background check within 30 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify or attestation
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year, updated annually
- TB screening or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, COVID, and flu documentation or vaccination/declination as specified by the facility
