Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
CCC
Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting

Experience Notes

New graduates are accepted if they have Level II experience; Level I observation experience is not sufficient

Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient progress and treatment outcomes
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
Communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with the supervisor and care team
Complete discharge summaries and maintain required documentation and treatment minutes
Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
Obtain necessary DME or supplies as needed
Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
