Required qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- NBCOT
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
Role summary
- Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develops and adjusts treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes
- Provides skilled rehabilitation treatment using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
- Performs ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
- Communicates with supervisors, team members, patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
- Completes discharge summaries, documentation, treatment minute tracking, and required meetings/training
- May supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
