MRI Tech

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Midland, Texas
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
  • Call: Every other week from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:00 AM
  • Start timeframe: Within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • MRI Technologist experience within the last year
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT (MR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Siemens experience

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Evening shift, 5x8 hours

Compliance / Onboarding

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • E-Verify or attestation
  • Background check
  • 10-year criminal background check within 30 days of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
  • Texas DPS criminal history search within 30 days prior to start
  • Texas Employee Misconduct Registry check within 30 days prior to start
  • Texas DADS Employability Status Check within 30 days prior to start
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • N95 fit test within 1 year of start
  • Tdap within 10 years of start
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation within 72 hours of signing contract
  • Drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or declination during flu season

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
