Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Valdosta, Georgia
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Call required
- Weekend coverage required
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Familiarity with temporary pacemakers, IABP, CSI, FFR/IFR, and IVUS
- Ability to titrate critical drips
- Ability to manage an intubated patient
- Experience with Epic
Work Environment
- Scrubs provided
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Documentation system: Epic

- Signed competency check-off tip sheet
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination requirement or approved exemption documentation, if applicable
- Completion of required orientation testing and learning modules before start
