Job Overview
- Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Wisconsin
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Complete documentation, including evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports
- Contact insurance companies regarding benefits
- Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions
- Educate staff on evaluation results, recommendations, and current research-based guidance
- Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient-centered treatment
- Clean treatment rooms after sessions
- Provide reminder calls to patients
- Help patients and families navigate the hospital
- Perform other assigned duties
