Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted: Yes
- Local candidates accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis within 60 miles
Schedule
- On-call required: Yes, 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
- Block scheduling: May be accommodated at manager’s discretion
Experience
- Required experience: 1 year
- Preferred experience: Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience and EP experience
- Required case experience: Pediatric/adult transplant, R/L biopsy, balloon, stent, valve placement; may also include IR, preferably pediatric
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- SCRQSA (R)
Preferred Qualifications
- CCI with RCIS/RCES
- ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
Additional Notes
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Candidates should be prepared for emergency response team assignment during hurricane season
