ICU RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Cottonwood, Arizona
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
36 hours per week
First-time travelers accepted
Locals accepted
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
On-call: none

Unit and Work Setting

Primary unit: ICU
Floating required to MS/Tele and other areas as needed
Traveler will work in a flex pool
ICU and MS/Tele are the main floating areas
Ratios: ICU 1:1/2; MS/Tele 1:4/5
Short-term acute care, teaching, Level IV trauma facility

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Preferred Experience

ICU/PCU experience is preferred
Strong MS/Tele experience is considered

Scheduling Notes

Blocked scheduling may be considered based on unit needs
Time-off requests require unit manager approval

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
