Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Vancouver, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: ASAP, with compliance due 4 weeks from offer
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
- Shift: Variable days or evenings; mix of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts depending on unit need
- Likely schedule need: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:45 AM–7:15 PM, outpatient clinic
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in Washington
- MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network
- ARRT (MR)
Role Summary
- Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for ordered examinations
- Organize daily workflow and complete related clerical duties
- Integrate prior imaging studies, lab results, patient history, and medical records to support exam quality
- Consult with interpreting or ordering physicians as needed to select the most appropriate examination
- Provide patient education and instructions
