Job Overview
- Contract role in Bozeman, Montana
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Full-time equivalent: 0.9 FTE
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- STABLE
- NRP
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Antepartum experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Preferred Experience
- Labor and delivery experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, and PACU
Schedule Expectations
- Regular and sustained attendance required
- May require work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek
- Weekend and after-hours shifts may be required
- On-call work may be required
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
- Plan and implement patient and family education
- Provide care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
- Complete required stroke education within the first year and annually thereafter
Work Environment
- May involve lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, radiation, and emotionally challenging situations
