PCU Travel Nurse Job
Location

- Night shift, 3x12 hours

Unit Overview
- Neuro-focused unit caring for post-op spine and brain surgery patients, epilepsy monitoring, stroke, encephalopathy, seizures, and Parkinson’s
- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Float requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit specialty
- Experience with Epic
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
Additional Assignment Notes
- Traveler may be assigned to an Emergency Team during emergency events and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team until the event passes
- By accepting the contract, the traveler agrees to report as assigned during emergency events
