PACU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Wichita Falls, Texas
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- Rotating day off
- No call
- Start date within the next 3–5 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify or attestation
- Badge photo
- Resume or application copy
- 2 references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement

- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Physical exam
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination documentation
- Parking policy acknowledgment
- Flu exemption form if requesting a medical exemption
- Flu exemption form if requesting a religious exemption
Facility-Specific Notes
- Annual background check renewal is required for Aya candidates
- Some required items must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract
- Some certifications and health documents are required only if applicable to the role or candidate status

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
