Typical step-down patient population
Common diagnoses include post-MI with sheath pull, ADHS, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA

Required Qualifications

ACLS
BLS
RN license
Must be able to titrate drips

Clinical Responsibilities

Telemetry on all patients; RNs read strips
Common titratable drips include nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene

Staffing and Support

1 PCT per shift
Charge nurse and house supervisor available
Charge nurse typically does not take a team

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend
Holiday schedule is about every other holiday
No call or standby

Royal scrubs

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
