Occupational Therapist — Inpatient Rehab

Job details

  • Location: South Bend, Indiana
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
  • Weekend requirement: Once per month; Saturday and Sunday coverage required
  • On-call: None
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Charting system: Cerner
  • Scrubs: Grey

Required qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Indiana
  • Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience with Cerner

Compliance / onboarding requirements

  • Background check covering the last 7 years and all states lived/worked
  • Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts
  • Physical exam
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • TB questionnaire
  • Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
  • Signed confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement
  • Signed agency resource guide receipt
  • Completion of pre-start modules
  • Employment application

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
