CVOR RN Circulator

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Middletown, Ohio
Day shift, 4x10s
13-week assignment
Call required: at least 1–2 days per week and at least one weekend per month
8 OR suites

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
One year of OR experience
CVOR experience within the last year
CVOR (1 year of experience)
Experience with Epic

Key Responsibilities

Circulate for CVOR cases
Work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations
Work independently, as part of a team, and as charge nurse as assigned
Adapt to a changing environment

Additional Notes

EPIC is used
Open Heart RNs may float between two facilities at the employer’s discretion
The assignment may be canceled for 2 shifts due to low census
The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
