Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Toledo, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Patient ratio: 1:1 on all shifts
- Level I trauma center setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Charge roles
- Trauma experience
- Experience with Epic
Schedule / Assignment Details
- One weekend per month required
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- RTO over 7 days requires management approval

- EPIC familiarity required
- Must complete a 7-year background check within 12 months of start
- Education verification required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
- HHS/OIG check required
- Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprint results required within 12 months of start
- 2 professional references required, including at least 1 leader reference
- Skills checklist required
- Jot form required at least 10 days before start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Physician statement required within the last 12 months
- N95 fit test required within 12 months of start
- Tdap required within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 3 months of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
