X-Ray Technologist

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temp

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in a Clinic setting
Experience in a Hospital setting
Driver's License
GE OEC c-arm equipment experience
Current or recent Operating Room competency/experience

Preferred Qualifications

Iowa radiology license
Active Iowa/IA license or IDPH State Permit
GE OEC C-arm equipment experience
Current or recent Fluoro experience
Phillips equipment experience
Carestream portables experience
Siemens Cysto equipment experience

Additional Job Details

First-time travelers are welcome
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Must be willing to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Orientation dates listed: 9/14 and 9/21
NBO: 16 hours
EMR: EPIC
Average daily patient scans across all techs: 100

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
