Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in New Haven, Connecticut
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 3x12 schedule with day/night rotation
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work required
- On-call required
- Guaranteed hours included

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Must be able to circulate
- Must be independent with trauma cases, craniotomy, vascular, and endovascular cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub experience
- Experience with robotics
- Experience with orthopedics
Schedule Notes
- Schedule is built in 6-week blocks and released 2 weeks before the block starts
- Typically rotates between shifts weekly
- No more than 2 on-call shifts per week
- Cannot accommodate block scheduling
- Holiday time off is not approved
