Assignment Details

• Temporary position
• Block scheduling is not approved
• 48-hour guarantee is not available
• Requested time off must be included at upload; requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and the weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
• Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Traveler must have voicemail set up and be reachable when contacted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months minimum travel experience
• Bachelor’s degree
