Assignment Details
- Temporary position
- Block scheduling is not approved
- 48-hour guarantee is not available
- Requested time off must be included at upload; requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:
- Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and the weekend after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
- Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
- Traveler must have voicemail set up and be reachable when contacted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Vermont
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 months minimum travel experience
- Bachelor’s degree
