Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• 36 hours per week

Onboarding / Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract and must be completed under Ohio nursing code 4723.09
• Education verification required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
• Baseline competency exam in medication and ECG required for bedside RNs
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• 2 references required from employment within 1 year of start, from a manager, ANM, supervisor, charge nurse, or director
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required within 12 months of start
• Tdap documentation required every 10 years
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and drug screening documentation required per facility policy
• Eye exam required within 1 year of start
• Skills checklist required annually
