PCU RN Travel Contract
Location
- Bloomington, Indiana
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel/contract role
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- 48 hours per week
Role Overview
- Float position that may be assigned to an inpatient PCU unit
- Acuity-adaptable boarding unit with patients ranging from med-surg to PCU/stepdown/ICU level care
- Team nursing is used, including RN/LPN collaboration and delegation
- Ratios can vary based on acuity and staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience with Cerner
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
