CVICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Quincy, Illinois
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 48 hours per week
- Local candidates are accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience

- Government-issued photo ID and 2 forms of ID
- Emergency contact form before start
- Background check
- Education verification or diploma/transcript
- Employment application
- Work history verification for the last 3 years
- Physical exam before start
- Fit test for N95 mask within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of immunity or acceptable documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start; no rapid result
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- Color blindness testing
- Core training modules and competency exams before start
- Annual OSHA, core training, skills checklist, and certain screening/documentation updates as required
