RN LDRP/OB Nights

Job Details

Location: Grants, New Mexico
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour rotating nights
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
NRP
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
SAFER NM Technician certification

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan
Provide education to patients and families
Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel
Maintain documentation in the electronic health record
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and professional development
Float to other departments as needed

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
