RN Emergency Department
Overview
- Contract role in Hawaii
- Start date is fixed; no exceptions
- 13-week assignment with possible extension
Schedule
- Must be available for all shifts
- Variable shifts
- 80 hours in a 2-week period
- 12-hour shifts may be available
- May float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- NIHSS
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Long Term Care experience
Additional Notes
- Holiday pay is based on hours worked on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

Kapaa is located in the eastern region of Kauai just north of Lihu, with the Sleeping Giant formation in the Nounou Mountain range looming above.
