ICU RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Portland, Oregon
- 26-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
- Floating between units is required
- Weekends are required, at least every other weekend
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not required
- 48-hour shifts are not approved
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NURSYS verification
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Clinical Expectations
- ICU experience
- Must be able to care for critically ill patients at the stated ratios
Work Environment
- Short-term acute care hospital
- 418 staffed beds
- Epic charting system
Additional Assignment Notes
- Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities based on skill set
- If floating consecutive shifts, hotel lodging may be offered at additional cost
