Job Overview

• Travel/contract role for a registered nurse in Saint Paul, Minnesota
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Specialty: Telemetry; may also work med/surg
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating within scope may be required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Telehealth experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprint clearance required
• BCA background check required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required within 1 year of start
• HHS/OIG screening required within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
• Tdap required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization or immunity documentation required
• Drug screen required within 1 year of start
• Respiratory safety clearance required
• References required
• Skills checklist required annually
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
• Competency exam required
• Pre-orientation modules must be completed before start
• Photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing
