Registered Nurse
Location
- Wheeling, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No self-scheduling
- Schedule is based on facility needs
Unit Details
- Skilled nursing / long-term care floor with a mix of long-term residents and residents working to regain strength to return home
- 30 residents per unit, 60 total for the floor
- Private rooms
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- CPR required before first day
Clinical Responsibilities
- RN responsibilities include IVs, PICC lines, mediports, and central lines
- IV antibiotics, blood, and IV fluids may be administered
Work Environment
- No tele monitors
- N95 required
- COVID vaccine not required
Staffing and Support
- RN/LPN ratio: 1:15
- CNA ratio: 1:10
- Physicians available 24/7 by phone
- On-site support includes PT, OT, ST, social services, case managers, business office, dieticians, pharmacist, and medical records
Floating
- Float as needed; travelers float before core staff
Orientation
- 2 shifts of orientation

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
