Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in New London, Connecticut
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours
  • Start times vary by department need: 7:00–15:30 or 9:00–17:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • May float as needed
  • Free parking
  • Scrub color: teal

Required Qualifications

  • Cardiac Sonographer with 2 years of experience
  • Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
  • Experience starting intravenous (IV) lines
  • ICU experience
  • ARDMS or CCI certification
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Must pass color blind testing
  • Must complete a 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Must provide a physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Must provide a fit test within 12 months of start and update annually
  • Must provide a TB questionnaire and acceptable TB documentation
  • Must provide proof of immunity or vaccination status for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu season requirements
  • Must provide references within 3 years of start
  • Must have a 7-year work history with no gaps greater than 90 days
  • Must complete verification of the last 7 years of employment
  • Must complete a skills checklist within 12 months of start
  • Must complete a prior radiation exposure attestation

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
