Operating Room RN
Job overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Kingman, Arizona
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Call and late-call required, averaging about 5–6 shifts per month depending on staffing
- Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
- Minimal to no holiday RTO
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check, including required searches and verifications
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Transcript or diploma
- Education verification through NSCH
- NRP, as required
- Competency exam, as required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as required
- 2 references within 3 years of start
- Skills checklist
- Facility-specific forms and job description completion
- Clear, passport-style badge photo
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start, then annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, then annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation based on birth year requirements
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella documentation
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
