Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Bachelor's degree and graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Driver's License
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including patient preparation, positioning, radiopharmaceutical administration, and image acquisition
- Review orders, schedule patients and department resources, and present completed procedures for interpretation
- Perform quality control on nuclear cameras and radiopharmaceuticals
- Document and process data in the Nuclear Medicine Information System and send images to PACS
- Follow radiation safety, emergency procedures, and departmental protocols
- Assist with patient transport, room/equipment preparation, and supply management
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed, with expected arrival within 30 minutes when called in
