Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB or chest X-ray
  • TB questionnaire
  • Measles immunity documentation
  • Mumps immunity documentation
  • Rubella immunity documentation
  • Hepatitis B immunity or declination
  • Varicella immunity documentation
  • Tdap within 10 years of start
  • Drug screen within 10 business days prior to start
  • Fit test
  • Flu vaccination or exemption for the listed season
  • Color blind testing

Facility Onboarding

  • Orientation modules required
  • Parking available for orientation and employment parking after orientation, with no fee
  • Several facility acknowledgements and forms must be completed before start

Additional Notes

  • Background check and certain registry checks are required within 30 days of start
  • Some certifications and documents are required only if applicable to the role
  • Onsite fit testing is available for a fee

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
