Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Washington, DC
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day or night, 3x12 hours
- Hours: 36 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 48 per pay period
- Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2; if floated to NICU, up to 1:3
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 2 years of Critical Care Float experience
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- CVPICU experience
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Work Expectations
- Strong PICU experience required
- Must be comfortable floating within scope between NICU, PICU, and CVPICU
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- On-call not required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted

- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
