Interventional Radiology RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
On-call required: 2–3 weekends per 13-week contract and one weeknight per week
May float within scope as needed
First-time travelers accepted
Pending license accepted
Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
Block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Interventional Radiology (2 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Skills required: circulate, conscious sedation, ICP, pulmonary artery lines, telemetry, vents

Schedule and Work Expectations

Average daily census: 10–20
Rooms: 3
RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
