CVICU RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse, CVICU
• Location: Paramus, New Jersey
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Hours per week: 36
• Floating: Required to ICU, IMC, and helping hands as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVICU experience within the last year
• 1 year of CVICU experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ECMO experience
• Open Heart experience

Additional Requirements

• Two references required: one supervisory reference from within the last 12 months and one professional reference from within the last 3 years
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• 7 years of employment verification required
• Current resume with explanation for any gaps greater than 30 days

Pre-Start Compliance

• Background check and license verification required before start
• Education verification required
• Drug screen required
• Fit testing required
• Physical/statement of health required
• Immunization and vaccine documentation required, including COVID-19 and flu
• TB screening required
• Onsite testing and facility-specific training/document acknowledgements required before start
