Description
Operating Room Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Arizona
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Includes call and late call requirements
- Estimated 5–6 call/late call shifts per month, depending on staffing
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room experience
Additional Notes
- Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
- Minimal to no holiday RTO preferred
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check with 7-year search within 30 days of start; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check, annually
- HHS/OIG check, annually
- Transcript or diploma
- Education verification through NSCH
- NRP, as required
- Competency exam, as applicable
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start, then annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation for candidates born in 1957 or later
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation, declination, or vaccine series
- Varicella immunity documentation, declination, or vaccine history
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- 2 references within 3 years of start

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
