Nuclear Medicine Tech
Job Overview
- Location: Columbus, Indiana
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- On-call: Every third weekend and every third week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT or NMTCB
- Driver's License
Schedule / Work Conditions
- Rotating weekly schedule between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at local rate
- First-time travelers: depends on experience
Compliance / Onboarding
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required
- HHS/OIG required
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- State license verification required
- Physical exam required within 30 days of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start
- References: 2 within 3 years of start
- Photo for badge required
- Parking permit application required for onsite parking
- Respiratory safety clearance required
Additional Health Documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
