Registered Nurse - NICU
Role Overview
- Neonatal ICU registered nurse position
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Orientation date: 9/30
- Contract length: 8 weeks
Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend or more if willing
- Holiday requirement: every other holiday
- No on-call requirement
Clinical Setting
- Level 3 NICU
- Cares for babies as young as 22 weeks gestation
- No surgical patients
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 neonatal care
- Manage CPAP, ventilators, and UVC lines
- Support deliveries in labor and delivery when needed
- Provide developmental care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Compliance / Clearance
- No pending compliance items allowed
- File must be fully completed for clearance
