Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Canton, Ohio
- Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Call required
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Schedule / On-Call
- On-call rotation includes every other weekend or potentially every third weekend depending on staffing
- If not on weekend call, call is approximately 2 days per week
- If on weekend call, there is 1 additional on-call day that week
Screening / Orientation Requirements
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable scores are required
Additional Compliance Items
- Background check required before start
- Fingerprinting required
- Education verification required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask testing required before start
- Tdap vaccination/documentation required
- TB screening or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation required
- Drug screening required
- Flu vaccination/documentation required seasonally
- References required
- Employment application must include prior work history
- Skills checklist required annually
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint result attestation required
