Description

ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Ontario, Ohio
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Willingness to float to other ICU campuses if census drops
Every other weekend required
Must be able to make up missed shifts
Must find coverage if time off falls on a scheduled weekend
Must return to the facility within 1 hour if placed on call
Knowledge of medication scanning required

Schedule Notes

Submit time-off requests in advance; no more than 7 days requested

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
