Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment
- 13 weeks
- Start: ASAP
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Call required: 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
- No local candidates within 50 miles
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound or radiologic technology
- ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT
- Recent breast ultrasound experience
- Basic vascular ultrasound experience
- OB/GYN ultrasound experience
- Ultrasound procedures experience
Certifications
- BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment
Compliance / Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- 7-year criminal background check
- Education verification, diploma, or full transcripts
- Primary source verification of state license
- 2 clinical references
- Employment application/resume
- Skills checklist
- Physical exam
- Fit test for N95 mask within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Alabama APS clearance requirements
