Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• CVOR (1 year of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Weekends required: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, depending on unit needs
• On-call required
• Floating required
• Holiday and hurricane coverage required
• Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval before offer
• Final requested time off must be included with submission and will not be accepted after offer

Clinical Setting

• CVOR procedures include coronary angioplasty, coronary artery bypass grafting, pacemaker placement, heart valve replacement, peripheral vascular bypass, AV fistula creation/revision/removal, lobectomy, and ventricular shunt insertion/replacement/removal

Additional Requirements

• 2 references from managers, supervisors, charge nurses, or directors within the last year
• Flu vaccination required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Solid-color scrubs; candidate provides own or may wear provided scrubs
