EP Lab RN Travel Contract

Overview

  • Location: Aurora, Colorado
  • Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Setting: EP Lab

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic EP experience preferred
  • RCES preferred

Schedule Details

  • Various days of the week
  • No weekend requirement, though this may change based on staffing needs
  • On-call required: 2 call days per week and holiday shift call

Job Duties

  • Prepare the environment
  • Assess patients
  • Review safety checklists
  • Monitor patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures

Additional Details

  • First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience in a busy EP Lab
  • No floating within scope or between like units
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Charting system: EPIC

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
