Job details
- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Evening, 3x12 hours, 15:00–03:00
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 16 weeks
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Floating: May float to other units based on unit needs
- On-call: Required on scheduled days if cancelled
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Block scheduling: Not required
- 48-hour shifts: Not approved
- Vehicle required for assignment
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- NURSYS verification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- EFM certification
- TNCC certification
- Chemotherapy certification
- IV certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior certification
- NIH Stroke certification
- CPI certification
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Competency exam
- Skills checklist
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Clinical experience and skills
- Labor and delivery RN
- High-risk OB experience
- Ability to float to MBU and PSCU
Compliance and onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check
- Education verification
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Physical exam
- Fit mask clearance
- TB screening
- Tdap documentation or declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance documentation as applicable
