Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Johnson City, Tennessee
13-week contract
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
48 hours per week
Ratios: 1:7 for medical-surgical
Rotating weekends and holidays
No call
Floating required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Details

36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules are available
General orientation begins on Sundays
Includes 16 hours of nonbillable orientation

Additional Notes

Background check, education verification, drug screen, and skills checklist are required
Candidate must complete facility-specific onboarding and health documentation before start
Candidate may be asked to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
