Overview

- Unit: Cellular therapies unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Bone Marrow Transplant (2 years of experience)
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Chemotherapy administration experience
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend work is required per unit needs
- Floating is required between BMT/Onc and CTU units
- May also float to sister facilities in the metro region based on facility needs
- Must be comfortable working with flexible staffing ratios
Clinical Setting
- 51-bed unit
- Cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 3–4:1
Additional Notes
- Epic is used for charting
- Navy scrubs are required
