Description

Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Aurora, Colorado
  • 13-week assignment
  • 36 hours per week
  • Rotating shifts
  • Weekend work required per unit needs
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • On-call not required
  • Floating required as needed, including to sister facilities

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • 2 years of oncology experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology certification preferred, but not required

Schedule and Work Conditions

  • Various days of the week
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios may flex based on staffing and unit needs
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios

Additional Notes

  • Epic charting system
  • Navy scrubs required
  • Maximum of 10 RTO days approved
  • RTO not allowed during:
    • June 28 to July 9, 2026
    • September 2 to September 12, 2026
    • October 25 to November 4, 2026

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
