Rehab Speech Therapist

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Hawaii
Speech Language Pathologist (2 years of experience)
Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
BLS
Experience in a(n) Inpatient Rehab or Skilled Nursing setting
Ability to complete Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) independently without supervision by a radiologist

Job Responsibilities

Provide rehab services in acute care, SNF, and possibly outpatient settings
Perform Modified Barium Swallow studies in radiology without supervision by a radiologist

Additional Details

Possible floating to another facility depending on census and staffing
Training in EMR documentation and rehab-area orientation provided
Candidate must have a Hawaii license by the start of the assignment
Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
